This intensive camp is designed to advance both sport and professional human remains detection K9 teams, helping handlers and dogs persevere through distractions while sharpening critical skills. Participants will learn intentional handling techniques, hide-setting fundamentals, and strategies to clear blank areas and solve odor theory challenges more efficiently.

Through hands-on work with blinds, blanks, and facilitated blinds, plus coaching and roundtable discussions, teams will improve independent search skills, leash handling, canine reading, and management of distractions. Sessions take place in varied venues—including barns, vehicles, and field environments—to simulate real-world conditions.

Open to certified or pre-certification professional teams and sport teams trialing at the Elite level, this camp emphasizes engagement, confidence, and teamwork, empowering handlers to motivate dogs to maintain high performance under challenging conditions.
