About the event
This is an instructional seminar with lead instructors and assistant instructors at each venue. Venues will include the hospital, 50/50 houses, vehicles, rubble, and the sunken villiage. Focus is on developing appropriate skills in each team and being prepared to work in a multitude of environments. (The military had the prison complex).
Each set of 10 handlers will be at one venue per 3.5 hour block, then rotating to a new location with other instructors. Night classroom sessions will be offered (Brad Dennis, Craig Schultz and ????). A panel discussion with all of the instructors will take place on the last morning prior to attendees departing.
About the sources used: Scenarios will be set to with options for handlers select large source and/or trace material. Rubble pile venues will include large source only. Real composite materials will be used for large sources and component (blood, teeth, etc) will be used for trace sources.Â
Registration will be limited to 60 working spots, including second dogs, and unlimited audits.Â
Cost:Â
$550 for a working spot (1 dog/handler)
$300 for an audit
$400 for a second dog (We are limiting to only 10 dogs per group)
Includes 4 nights barracks lodging, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for 3.5 days and a t shirt.Â
Pricing reflects the cost of facility rental, food, instructor stipends, and specimem acquisition.Â

Prereqs:
1) Dog must have a trained final response or recognize odor (Intermediate to Advanced).This would be a great opportunity for new/young handlers to audit!
2) Must have current core shot records in line with AHAA
