About the event

Have you ever thought or said, "but they knew it yesterday", or "this was great at the training building" when your dog did something that you were not expecting?

In this webinar we will explore why being crystal clear about the specific skill we're targeting and at what proficiency level during our training is so crucial for success. This is key for developing strong behaviors that are resiliant to the stressors of our competitive or operational environment. We will delve into the behavior fluency and the difference between the phases of teaching, training, and testing. I will share the ratio I believe is most beneficial for most dogs and when to move to between the phases.

What you will gain:

  • Gain an understanding of how to effectively measure learning
  • Learn key questions to ask yourself to determine whether you should teach, train, or test
  • Discover how you can move between the three "T"s without knowing it
  • What to do when it doesn't go as planned.

This will be a 50 minute lecture followed by 40 minutes of live Q & A.  If you are unable to attend live, a recording of the event will be made available.
